    I had a question about the shortcode. Is this code supposed to just be inserted in the same page as the CF7 Form that we have already or is it supposed to be the main shortcode calling the actual form on the page?

    Because I have a page already built with the ContactForm7 form called with the normal shortcode then lower down on the page I have this plug in shortcode. Or should I have just used this shortcode as the call for the contact form?

    The CF7 / Zoho shortcode replaces your existing CF7 form. When you specify the ID in the shortcode it will import your CF7 form as well as put in the hooks for Zoho. No need to specify 2 shortcodes.
