• Sydney theme is suddenly scrolling differently in Firefox: When scrolling up, the header picture will move upwards and the body is stretched. It’s like Firefox is “pulling the wrong strings”.

    In Safari and Chrome instead, when scrolling up, the body will come up and smoothly slide over the header picture, like it is supposed to do.

    You can try in the theme preview https://de.www.ads-software.com/themes/sydney/.

    So why is this issue with Firefox?

  • Hello there,

    It looks normal accessed from my end. Please see this screencast: https://cloudup.com/cXNR-xUA_KH.

    Could you please confirm if you are running the latest version of Firefox?

    Thanks for replying!

    Just updated Firefox.

    From what I can see from your screenshot is actually the exact same problem: The header image is moving up and the body is following.

    Please try Safari or Chrome, you should recognise that the body will slide smothly over the header image with the header image almost steady.

    Hi,

    I’m personally seeing this issue only in Edge.

    Use this in a custom CSS plugin please until we update the theme:

    .header-slider {
        transform: none;
    }

    Thank you vladff,
    This helped me in my child-theme for “sydney 1.35”
