However, sinec the stated reason for the upgrade of Nextgen are security related we are not in a position to roll back the update.

I’ve rolled back Nextgen as per frequencycast’s post, and my Slideshow works perfectly. Thankyou! ??

I spoke too soon. While it fixed the slideshow, it got rid of all line breaks and paragraphs, so all sentences ran together like one big paragraph. I took a screenshot but I can’t upload it. I’ve upgraded to 2.1.54 and I guess I’m stuck with it being broken ??

Same issue as the other posters. This plugin is conflicting with the latest version of Nextgen.

The fix worked for me. very grateful to the person who figured out what was really a simple change.
