“remove google fonts” option changed widget font

Ps. The webfont optimazation plugin you suggest(who isnt been updated for over a year) decreased my speed and still showed one line in the test. So that is not a good option i think.

mmm…well, how important is it that the red questionmark fields in the Google speed test is fixed? I have no idea. It went op from 60 to 70.

although GPSI is “merely” a tool that tries to quantify adherence to best performance practices (I’m more into “real” performance testing, measuring time, on e.g. https://webpagetest.org/), I do think that fonts have a to-big-an-impact on the time to render a site and that you’re better of without it really. so yeah, I think fixing fonts-perf. issues is worth it.

the keycdn-article does propose a solution for the fonts-stuff, but -as they indicate- it will result in “FOUT, which is a flash of unstyled text”.

Ok clear. But how can i get my old font back? Because i did remove google fonts, but now i cant choose another font anymore in my Rapidology plugin. Did Rapidologu use Google fonts?

Ps. Couple of minutes after i removed the Google fonts my posts are, again, left centered. Im completely lost. Is this because of the Google font removing? What is this? Super annoying.

untick the “remove google fonts”-option (and make sure any mystery page cache gets purged)

well, you’ve removed js/jquery/jquery.js from the AO JS optimization exclusions, but that clearly does not worK, so re-add js/jquery/jquery.js there (and make sure any mystery page cache gets purged) and the post ordering will be fine again.

Ok did all, and empty the AO cache, browser cache and pressed CTRL F5 for cache. Still everything is left centered and the font isnt restored. Why isnt it resored now? I dont get if Frank. Which cache is bugging me?

that my friend is mystery even to me. it sure looks like a page cache (by a plugin, your hoster, or something cloudflare-like) …

looking at the HTTP-response headers it’s your hoster (pcextreme);

Ow i asked my friend to check also, on his screen everything is also left centered and another font. So is this really a cache problem?

Fixed! I need to empty the cache on my hosting admin panel!
