  • OOPS I hit the enter button sorry about that but here is my question.
I do know that there is a upload feature for wordpress but what I want to know is there a plugin out there that will enable me to attach files to each post that I want to attach files to? I searched and found none…
I want it to be able to upload and attach that file to the post, via the write section of word press..
    thanks!

    I agree. I’d like a file upload/link added to the quicktags.js

has anything been created for this request?

Any news yet on this. Would be most useful.

It’d definitely be useful… I even think I’ve seen it being done somewhere (with WP), but can’t remember… stupid head!

I would upload the file first, and then use the custom field to attach/reference to that file.

I needed something like this myself so I created a plugin called Attach Files. Give it a try at and let me know what you think.

Description: The attach-files plugin allows wordpress authors to easily attach data files to their posts in a way that will be familiar to anyone who has sent an email attachment.

tripodmsu I’ll give your plugin a try. thanks!

The link for the plugin “Attach Files” no longer works. Does someone have this mirrored somewhere or is there another plugin with similar functionality that is supported?
