Playback speed control in future release?

    Hi, I’m trying to find an audio player with playback speed controls (1.25x, 1.5x, 2.0x) that will let me play slow-speaking podcast files back a bit faster, to reduce total listening time. You guys seem very competent, and so I thought I would ask if you had any plans to consider playback speed controls in a future version.

    Or maybe you know of a player that will do this kind of thing? Lots of video players do it, but it’s hard to find a podcast player with speed controls. https://www.thepodcastfactory.com has a nice player, but it’s probably custom or something.

    Hi, thanks for your comment. This is a great idea. Technically it’s certainly possible, we’d just have to find a nice way to fit in the controls without disrupting the visual design.

    I’m adding this on our TODO list and will keep this thread updated on the progress. Unfortunately I cannot promise the feature or any estimated timeframe though. Thanks a lot for the suggestion!
