Possible to change toggle icons?

Is it possible to change the toggle icon for showing and hiding submenu items from the up and down chevrons to plus and minus signs?
I looked through all the documentation I could find but didn’t see it mentioned anywhere.
If it isn’t easy to change, perhaps that would be a great feature to add for the pro version.
BTW, love the plugin!
