• Hello world !

I’m new to forum posting and i’m really in need of your precious help ??

I have a wordpress blog where i post too many articles per day so i exceeded my 100MB / table Quota which means that the Wp_posts is now saturated and can’t add no more posts..

My question is, can i creat a custom table and post there my upcoming articles? (which means 100MB of contents in addition) something like wp_posts2..

I may be wrong but excuse my poor knowledge in DB matters and my poor english too! (since i’m a French guy :p )

Have a nice week end and looking forward to hearing from you soon !

No, given how tightly integrated WordPress’s database schema is, you won’t be able to break off into a second posts table.

I recommend moving to a better hosting provider, we have a few recommendations at https://www.ads-software.com/hosting/

When you’re ready to move, follow this guide: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Moving_WordPress#Keeping_Your_Domain_Name_and_URLs

Additionally, you can find WordPress support in your native language at https://wpfr.net/support/

WordPress does not put “Quota” limit.

Have you spoken to your hosting provider?

Hello again ! i didn’t expect a quick replay from you both, thank you so much ! ??
@james: i’m really thinking of moving to another wordpress hosting where there is no such tight limits :p and in what concerns English, i love it and prefer to speak it, make mistakes and learn ?? btw thank u for the links you shared !

@t-p: Yes i told them that i’m now locked out and blocked by those few Megs limit, tjey told me that their server strategy doesn’t allow me to exceed 100MB per tables ?? i think that the only choice for me is to migrate to another Hosting.. so bad.. 1GB of free space in my DB but i can use only 10% of it…

As @macmanx recommended, move to a better hosting provider. We have a few recommendations at https://www.ads-software.com/hosting/
