The free version doesn’t work

Love the look of this theme, and wanted to try out the free version first before paying for pro. Sadly, once the ‘Eleganto Advanced Sections’ plug in (required) is activated the customise menu doesn’t load. Loads fine when I deactivate it, but then the theme doesn’t work properly. Unfortunate as it looked like it would be the theme to suit my needs.
