DePo Skinny Theme Sidebar addition

Hi guys,
I am trying to add a sidebar to the DePo Skinny theme on my Blog Brave New Wave but I am not quite sure as to how.
I want to enable some widgets and plugins that I used to have on my old themes, any ideas?
