I am trying to change the appearance of my website, but when I get into Appearance.. Customize the menus are off the side of the page (see screen shot). I’ve tried different screen resolution settings, different monitors, not view full screen, etc. but nothing seems to help. I’ve even reinstalled Windows 10 from scratch.

  • Hello rosyoutlook,

As a test, try accessing the customizer with a default theme, such as twenty sixteen. This will help you identify if your theme is causing the problem.

    Hello @rosyoutlook,

It sounds like you’ve tried a lot of things already!

There are two things I’d suggest trying as well to see if we can isolate where the issue is:
    1) Try activating a different theme to see if it still happens.
    2) Deactivate ALL plugins to see if the issue resolves. If it does resolve, then activate plugins one at a time to see if you can find out which one is causing the issue.

    All the best,
    Kevin

    Hello Rosyoutlook,

Sorry to see if you’re having problems with the Customize sidebar not showing correctly. When I was looking at your site, you appear to be using WooCommerce. It’s possible that theme you’re using is affecting the fonts for the Customize sidebar. If you’re using a particular theme, try switching to one of their default ones to see if it corrects the issue. When I loaded WooCommerce and tried the default them, I could not duplicate the issue. Let us know if this helps!

    Regards,
    Arnel C.

Thank you everyone. It appears it was the “Woo Shop Customizer” plug-in causing the problem

Glad to hear that all the advice worked @rosyoutlook! Thanks @arncus and @johnpaulb
