files location

    Hello,
    I would like to know where will be located the backup files;
    I mean when I start the migration the transfer package is located on the hosting server or on my pc ?
    I don’t have enough space on the server to make the copy of the website.

    Hi gabrielebr,

    Thank you for reaching out.
    While archiving your site on export, the backup will first be created within wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/storage.
    When the export completes, the file will be moved to wp-content/ai1wm-backups.
    Meaning the plugin will do the entire process on your server.

    If your site is 1GB, the plugin will need 3 times disk space, which is 3GB available on your server to complete the export.
