Adding Custom Taxonomies to Data Layer

  • Has anyone been able to take custom taxonomies created using CPT UI Extended and add them as dynamic variables in the data layer similar to how GTM4WP allows categories to be set in the basic data tab?

    We have added two custom taxonomies similar to the default categories and I’d like to be able to use all 3 for Content Groupings in GA.

    Hi,

    I added this as a feature request to the GitHub project:
    https://github.com/duracelltomi/gtm4wp/issues/15

    I will see what I could do about this to add proper support in the plugin.
    I can not give you an estimate when this will be implemented but not this year for sure.

    Great – would also really be looking forward to that…I may have my developer add a temporary hard coded alternative to the plugin until it has been made available in core
