    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Are you using the regular/plain WordPress user roles (Administrator, Editor, Author)? Or does your site maybe use custom user roles? You should be able to see these in the “Users” menu in the admin menu.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Hello there. Thanks for the quick response. I am using the regular user roles and I have full administrator privileges.

    Hi,

ok, then the trick with setting that number 32 to 0 should work actually… (It’s supposed to show 32 again, as this is an internal reset mechanism.)

If this really doesn’t work, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site. Could you therefore please get in touch via email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”)? That way, I can investigate this directly. Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

    great, sounds good!

    Best wishes,

was this ever resolved? I am having the same exact problem ??

I also tried the solution above with no results.

I go into the options page and change the number (currently it is a 32) after “plugin_options_db_version” to a 0.

    please advise….

    Hi,

if the suggestion with resetting the plugin_options_db_version values does not work, this usually indicates a site-specific problem. In that case, if possible, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site. Could you therefore please create a temporary admin account for me and send me the details via email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”)? That way, I can investigate this directly. Thanks!

    Tobias

created an account for you to have a look. I’ve tried deleting tablepress and reinstalling it as well as disabling nearly all plugins. Still no results.

    Hi,

thanks! I was able to log in and could confirm the issue. The reason why that suggested change did not work is that something on your server is blocking the requests to save changes on options.php.
I now reset the TablePress access capabilities in a different way, so that you should now see TablePress in the admin menu ??

    Tobias

Thank you very much for your time, great support, great plugin!

    Have a great day!

    Hi.

I am having this issue also with the Table Press plugin not appearing in the WordPress sidebar.

I have attempted to follow the links provided in this and previous topics relating to this issue but the links come back with ‘this site cannot be reached’.

    Please help.

    Cheers, Kellie

    Hi Kellie,

thanks! I have received the email and was able to log in.

The reason for this is quite simple, on your site: You have installed TablePress 1.8, which however requires WordPress 4.7 (the latest version, released yesterday, being 4.8.1). Now, your site is still on WordPress 4.5.9, from what I can see.

I can therefore only recommend to update to the latest WordPress 4.8.1 and everything should be fine again.

    Regards,
    Tobias
