Shortcode deprecated error

  • I just updated CF7, after installing the Conditional Fields and Multi-Step Forms add-ons, and got this:

    Notice: wpcf7_add_shortcode is deprecated since Contact Form 7 version 4.6! Use wpcf7_add_form_tag instead. in /usr/home/gratzergraphics/public_html/clients/ggllc/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/functions.php on line 351

    If I deactivate the add-ons, the error message goes away. Do I need to contact those developers?

    Maybe. I don’t know who manages the Conditional Fields and Multi-Step Forms plugin, though.

    More than that, you’d better not use WP_DEBUG = true on a live site. It’s for debugging.

    I didn’t use WP-DEBUG. I simply updated CF& and that showed up.

    You see the notice because you use WP_DEBUG.

    Hello, I got this issue when I updated Plugin “wpcf7_add_shortcode is deprecated since Contact Form 7 version 4.6! Use wpcf7_add_form_tag instead. in /home/findbave/public_html/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/functions.php on line 351.

    That is the 351 number line ” trigger_error( sprintf( __( ‘%1$s is deprecated since Contact Form 7 version %2$s! Use %3$s instead.’, ‘contact-form-7’ ), $function, $version, $replacement ) );”

    Can you tell me where will I change?

    Please help me.
