    Hello,

    I am running a site at https://www.LighthouseAlliance.org and I am having a problem with new posts. When I write a new post, it shows fine on the front page, but once I look at it under the Categories section, it adds this to the bottom of the post:

    a2a_linkname=”Test”;
    a2a_linkurl=”https://lighthousealliance.org/site/?p=421″;

    If you go to my church’s site and click under “Test” under categories, you will see what I am talking about. If you click on the “Blog” category, you will see the latest blog posts, and it does not do this to the post. I was messing around trying to install plugins earlier, and I have disabled all of the new plugins I installed, but I am still getting this problem. Any ideas?

  • This looks like code from a malfunctioning plugin. Are you using the Add to Any plugin?

    That’s what it was! Now I got a new problem- the blog on the front page is displaying the blogs in reverse order by date, with what I posted a month ago showing on top. Is there a setting for this order?

    What code does your theme’s index.php have for displaying content? By default, the most recent posts are on top unless you use a special query.

    Are you using any custom post ordering or post listing plugins?

    I am using Simply Exclude – https://www.codehooligans.com/2008/04/27/simply-exclude-plugin/ but I have been installing and uninstalling different post ordering plugins to find the right one and one of them must have screwed up the index.php page. What should I look for in the index.php to fix this?

    It is this plugin- I just deactivated it and its the culpret. I’d really like to use it though!
