‘Show User’s Location’ Option isn’t working properly

    Hi, I hope someone can help me out…

    We want our users to be able to use their current location when selecting where they would like directions from. Now, although we have the ‘Show User’s Location’ option checked and the button is appearing on the front end, it never successfully finds the location. After clicking on the button (on a mobile device or computer) it just says ‘Getting your current location address…’ in the text box. It doesn’t achieve anything, it is just forever ‘getting’ the location address.

    Can somebody please advise on any possible fixes for this? It is really important for the purpose of our maps that users are able to use their current location.

    Unfortunately getCurrentPosition() and watchPosition() no longer work on insecure origins. To use this feature, you should consider switching your application to a secure origin, such as HTTPS. See https://goo.gl/rStTGz for more details.

    Thank you for your reply!

    That has worked! We have got a security certificate for the site, we just have to force it to load on a HTTPS connection. When i forced that page to load on a HTTPS connection it worked.
