SMUSH

  • Although slow the first time used, if you have a lot of images, later you can Smush as images are added. Appears to be working, although I’ve done any loading analysis. I’d recommend if you’ve a lot of large images.

    In order to lower the load of your own server the images are sent to our servers where optimization is done.
    Because of that optimization time can be affected by image size and the speed of your server connection as well.

    We’re also constantly improving our servers and plugin itself to speed this up as the number of images smushed daily is huge, since the release of plugin we optimized over 7 billion images ??
