Hidepost / Are Paypal plugins not working

    Okay, I’m really new to WordPress. I installed Hidepost and activated it. Then I went and wrote a post that read

    [hidepost] hello world [/hidepost]

    When I view my website, the text shows up just as written above and hello world is not hidden.

    So I went and tried Are Paypal as it has a similar feature to hide part of a post until the user is logged in. Same thing… the post shows up just as written. Both plugins are uploaded and activated.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Even though I activated the plugin in the dashboard, I still had to activate it again within the plugin’s settings.
