Upgrading to 4.7

I’m the web admin for our community web-site, which is hosted by Go Daddy.

We’re currently running 4.6.1, and all plugs-ins are up to date; 4 Themes require updating.

I have an “Update to 4.7” link on my dashboard, but when I last attempted an upgrade from 4.5x to 4.6, our system crashed. Since I do not have admin access to the web host, I had to call a fellow resident here, who owns the Go Daddy hosting license and was able to resolve the issue.

So, can I safely upgrade from 4.6.1 to 4.7 by clicking the “Update to 4.7” link?
