• Hello,

I did some stupid css edit a while ago with the width of the .custom-logo on my site. For some reason Internet explorer is still following that code edit. Every other browser is up to date with the current CSS styling.

Now I could be doing something wrong because I am new to this but it just seems strange.

    Thanks for the help

  • Hi bligs1126,

Could you please share a screenshot of what it looks like in Internet Explore and another screenshot of what it looks like when displayed correctly (i.e., in Chrome)?

Hey Liam, I’m not really sure how to add images here. Basically, my logo image on explorer is portraying the actually size of the image, and not centering it above the main menu. You have to scroll to the right to actually see the whole image. The logo image on chrome (and all other browsers) is adjusting the size based on the theme settings and centering it above the menu.

    Hi blips1126,

For sharing screenshots here on the WordPress support forum, I use CloudUp. I know that there are others too.

Is Internet Explorer (IE) your regular browser? It may be that you need to flush your cache in IE to get it to load the updated CSS.

I found that when i reduce the width of the image to around 1200px then IE will display it correctly. Very strange.

What version of IE are you using? Older versions do not support HTML5 or CSS3.
