It quite depends on your demand. You know the functionality of both are different.
This plugin can’t identify who posts a comment, a human or a bot.
But if you want to accept comments only from some countries, this plugin also may
help you.

I think the functionality of both are quite similar and a difference is
validation timing.
You can configure this plugin a little bit earlier than Login LockDown.
This can help to reduce load on server when you get brute-force attacks.
Here’s my test results under the following conditions:
– PHP 5.6.12 / WordPress 4.7
– MacBook Pro late 2015 / 2.8GHz Intel Core i7 / 16GB 1600MHz DDR3
– Theme: Twenty Seventeen
– Plugins: Total 12 plugins activated (include ether IP Geo Block or Login LockDown)

I would keep AntiSpam Bee. So there is no problem to have antispam bee and ip geo block?

IP Geo Block doesn’t have a functionality to rename wp-login.php. But IMO, it’s not enough to hide it because xmlrpc.php can also accept username and password. So you should install something like Disable XML-RPC. IGB can also control xmlrpc.

Hi, it’s indeed compatible..been working great on version prior to v3.0.0
Now it breaks everything
