    Hi,

I’m not able to login to a few websites I use because of the plugin. When I disable the plugin through FTP /wp-admin works again. Not only with 4.7, older versions too.

This is interesting. I’ve never heard this one before. You’re installing the plugin from the repo on your site? Do you get any errors when this happens? I can’t replicate this so whatever additional information you can give me would be great!

    – other plugins installed
    – theme installed
    – any changes to default functions.php file

And what actually happens – you say you’re not able to login … can you not load the page? Does it say your credentials are incorrect? Does it reload and never log you in?

    Kat

I have the same problem. It showed me an update in your plugin. I clicked on it to update and doing the update my whole site and wordpress stopped to work. Now I can not either login in to wordpress and all my work of the last two weeks is blocked. I hope it is not lost.

Please provide directions to solve this.

This is the report I get when I try to login in.

Is there any safe way to uninstall the plugin without putting on risk my wordpress installation?

Please advise ASAP. I need to finish my work.

    thank you

dariomendoza – You can try manually removing the plugin from your site. This can be done form the Host. You might even be able to have your Host do this for you.

Yes there are other plugins installed. But when I deactivate all of them and only have backupwordpress activated I still get the same problems. Same for themes. Different themes, same problems.

It just keeps loading and nothing happens. I can acces the /wp-admin/ login page. But as soon as I fill in my credentials and try to log in gets ‘stuck’.

    Hey there guys –

@dariomendoza – unfortunately it looks like you caught a glitch in the update to 3.6.3 and we did already push a corrected version. In the meantime, deleting the plugin from your plugins folder inside of wp-content would be the easiest way to correct this (if you haven’t already) so you can log in and access everything else on your site.

@joeyreclameaandekustnl – what version of the plugin were you running on these sites? And you said it’s not just happening with WP 4.7 but earlier versions of WP as well? If you are up for further troubleshooting, maybe on a test site, you could reference this thread and drop me a line at [email protected] and we’ll set you up with the support module to see if we can see anything that might be causing this.

I’m sorry I don’t have better answers but I am very willing to work with you to try and find out what’s going on if you’d like!

    Thanks,
    Kat

Thank you for your answer. I am still having issues with backup wordpress plugin. (Versión 3.6.3.1) I made a clean install of wordpress (4.7) and after installing your plugin the site stopped to work. It does not show the login page. After starting the login page from the admin files I still can not login in. I include my credentials and the blank page of death appeared. I deactivated your plugin and the page login worked again. I am sorry, your pluging looks like the one I want but it does not work for me. thank you.

I’m so sorry about this issue. What version of php are you running on your server, do you know?

If you’re up for further troubleshooting, maybe you can email our support ([email protected]) and we can arrange access for deeper troubleshooting for your site/server?

You can follow this guide on how to do so: https://bwp.hmn.md/knowledge-base/how-to-enable-support/

?Just be sure to click on the ‘support’ button again after enabling to send us a message. When you do that just remind me of your issue and I’ll be happy to help you troubleshoot.

    Thanks so much!
