No new affiliates, no new WP users

New affiliates receive an error message when trying to sign up.
(“Fehler: Sicherheitstest nicht bestanden.” -> Error: Security check not passed.)Although I can manually create a new affiliate in the admin backend, it won’t create a new WordPress user. Not sure if this is the way it’s supposed to work.
What can I do?
Any help is appreciated.
