    Hey!

Thank you for this awesome plugin.

I noticed odd issue when using WP Job Manager, PODS and Firefox browser. I have tested this with fresh install of wordpress in XAMPP.

Problem is that in WP Job Manager there is a page where it is possible to search published jobs and filter the search based on job types(these are checkboxes). For some reason these Job Type checkboxes always have this default value applied to them if Pods is active. This is annoying because when user inspects a job and go back to the search page, users selected job type checkboxes are not saved.

If user is logged in this doesn’t happen. Also when I was trying to figure which plugin was the cause I had to deactivate pods and restart my firefox browser.

Here is my how I tested:

I have wordpress and wp job manager installed –> install and activate pods –> logout –> restart firefox browser –> go to jobs search page (default should be yourdomain/jobs) –> uncheck some job type filters –> refresh page or select job and go back to job search –> selected job type filters are back to default value which shouldn’t happen

Sry for long message but I tried to be as clear as possibru ??

My apologies for just now responding to your post. Blame the holidays ??

Do you have Pods extending the Job Manager post types? By default I can’t imagine us conflicting automatically, but there might be something stepping in the way.

Would you be willing to open this as a bugfix/enhancement request on our GitHub? Since it’s specific to another plugin, we may need to pull in one of their developers as well.

You’re also welcome to bring this to our Slack Chat at https://pods.io/chat/ on the #support channel, but it would be better to see it as a bug report, because you can add screen shots illustrating the issue you’re having.

    Ty for reply ??

I have installed/activated fresh WordPress, WP Job Manager and PODS. Pods is not extending Job Manager post types. I only activated Pods and did nothing else. I will open this as a bugfix/enhancement on your github and hopefully we can solve this ??

Sounds good, we might need someone or a ticket at least from the Job Manager plugin to connect with in order to troubleshoot it properly. Screen shot examples will also be helpful because while your description above is helpful, seeing the issue is much clearer.

@irpe I’m going to mark this resolved on this end. If you still need assistance on it, please open a ticket at our GitHub (https://github.com/pods-framework/pods/issues/new) and we’ll follow up from there.

    Thanks!
