After inserting the Google Token
-
Hi there,
After clicking on “Get Access Token!” and confirming in the Google Account the access, when we paste the code in the “Insert Access Token” and click “Submit” the part of the screen turns White and nothing happens.
If we load the page again, we see again the “Get Access Token!” screen. So at the moment we can’t use the plugin.
Best regards.

Hello netconsulting,
thank you for contacting us ?? We have released update 1.1.3 a few hours ago. This update was specifically targeted to an error regarding the activation. Are you running an older version? If not, could you send us your WordPress and PHP version?
When you hit submit does it try to reload the page or is it not doing anything? The “screen turns White” part sounds like its performing a default submit, which is not ment to happen. It could result in a white page as you mentioned. This could be caused by javascript errors. Could you provide us a screenshot of your console messages? (Errors only)
Regards,
BAVOKO ServicesHi there. We are using version 1.1.3. On this site we are running WordPress 4.7 and PHP 5.4.45.
When we hit submit pages reloads and there appears a white page like this: https://imgur.com/a/eEaQA
Thanks for the information ?? We are currently having similar reports of activation problems on some machines. There is an update planned for tommorrow that will sort out current major bugs. Also till version 1.1.3 the plugin was tested against WordPress 4.6.1, the new update will also be a tested version for WordPress 4.7. Please tell us if the error remains after the update.
Regards,
BAVOKO ServicesHi Dear Author,

Rify HostingHello Sridhar,
the new update is going live in a few hours. Please be patient ??
For the time: Is the Google Account you are using allready connected to the Google Search Console? Because there is a bug, where some google errors would cause a blank dashboard. If it is not, or you arent sure, please visit the following page and register/check your domain as your own property.
You may then try this account on the activation page.
Regards,
BAVOKO ServicesHi there,
With the new version the problems remain. After introducing the token, the page reloads and has no content (only the administration topbar and the menú on the left).
can this have someting to do with having more than one site verified in Search Console?
What details do you need?
Best regards.
Hello,
first off: we are sorry, that the plugin is still not working for you. There seems to be more to that problem.
So, the blue navigation bar is actually being displayed? Are you using Bootstrap (or any of the libraries on the settings page) on your page? If so, please try disabling these in the plugins settings page.
You can safely access all your sites through one account as long as the domain is verified as your property. Please be aware, that Google only lets property owners see the data, so anyone who “just” has access to the site in the Google Search Console cannot use that account in our plugin. This is due to Google’s Security Guidelines, buts would actually trigger an error page, not a white dashboard.
We would like to check for javascript errors and plugin dependencies. Please check your browsers console for red higlighted errors and send us a list of your installed (and activated) plugins if possible.
PS: If you have trouble finding the browser console, here is a how-to for all browsers: Link
Regards,
BAVOKO ServicesEDIT: Since Version 1.2 you can switch between caching and live mode on the settings page and on activation. Does the error remain in both modes?

Hello again,
we have just tracked a similar error to an incompability with “Duplicator Pro”. Do you have this plugin on your site? This happened due to an old version of the Google Client API that this plugin is using. We have fixed the error check and updated to a new version. If you are getting a version error now, please try disabling plugins, that use the API. Plugins that are loading a version equal to or above 2.0 will give a notive, but are working.

BAVOKO ServicesHi there,
Still same result: After pasting the Access Token and clicking on Submit. The page reloads (wsko_main_view) and is white. All menus of WordPress appear correctly.
After reloading the screen to authenticate appears again. No change after deactivating the cache.
No Javascript errors.

Hello netconsulting,
thank you for your patience and the provided information. We have indeed reproduced an error with “Google Analytics Dashboard for WP”. Please deactivate this plugin temporarly and check if it helps. The plugin is loading an (old) version of the Google API after our own “check and load” without checking if it exists. We are working on a fix for this case right now.

Hello rob,
the Google Account used for authentication has to be the property owner of your site in the Google Search Console. Please login to your Search Console Account (your Google Account) and check the site ownership. Maybe you’ll need to login with your main account. Other accounts that just have view permissions in the Search Console are not able to be used with our Plugin. We are sorry, but this is a limitation from the Google API.

BAVOKO ServicesHi thanks for your reply.
