• Hi i’m triyng to set my paypal account and woocommerce and have a few questions.this is my site link: ponponi.co.il

    1) i understand i have to turn on the auto return to page oon, add a return page and then turn on the “payment data transfer” option in the paypal account to coppy a Token to the woocomerce. so is there a thank you page set by woocommerce that i should redirect te user to it? or should i creat that page? is it important to do this (redirect user to page?) i dont realy understand whats the Token thing do you recommend to add it?

    +++++++++++

    2) can anybody explain me whats the API thing for an how to set it? when i entered to the woocomerce settings there’s something already written there but i did not enter that info and not sure is the correct one.

    1) WooCommerce takes care of the redirect URL automatically when sending the user there in the first place;

    2) API is used to process refunds directly in your WooCommerce admin area, instead of having to log into PayPal each time. The settings filled in there looks like it’s auto-populated by your browser – it’s not something from WooCommerce itself ??

    Hi i made a payment in paypal to try it out, so after the payment is done there’s a button that gives the option to the buyer to go back to merchant page but it doesn’t send the buyer automatically.
    i want to set the aoturedirect to page.
    the button in paypal after purchasing sends me to a link specific for the order i made so is there a generic link i can add to this paypal section that goes back to the thank you page with details of purchase?

    i understand the thank you page is like this yoursite.com/checkout/order-received/
    BUT the question is what about the order information? is it going to appear because that is specific for every oder. when not using the redirect, the button of get back to merchant page takes you to a thank you page with all your order details which link has specific order number…so how can i set a specific link to autoreturn if every order actually has different information?

    so i tried it and solved it myself
    This redirect link yoursite.com/checkout/order-received/ is the one to paste in paypal. this links to the thank you page and automatically adds the order details.
