How to fix 4.7 breaking live sites

Just saying, Jason, that as of right now, WP 4.7 has been downloaded 4,671,975 times. (I count for 67 of those.) I haven’t had any problems. There are a couple of outstanding issues noted here:

I looked for other support messages from you to see what problems you might be having with your site. You have posted none.

So, it’s unfortunate that you’ve had a bad experience. It’s more unfortunate that you haven’t asked for help remedying that situation or posted any information that might help the devs with the inevitable 4.7.1 release.

Suggestions:

1. Update a full day after any site changes are made included adding posts/pages.
2. If site breaks on update, contact host right away and they will help you get site back up right away (See #4).
3. Report here any errors shown in WP and/or logs from host.
4. Use a host with a solid nightly backup solution and good support.

The 4th is important.
