I can’t update it because I can’t get into the system. Getting same message when trying to log into the admin panel. What can I do?

Using FTP or your hosting control panel, delete wp-content/plugins/googleanalytics then reinstall the latest version of the plugin.

Thanks for the advice, but I unfortunately have to wait for my host provider to provide the FTP credentials. Is this a problem I have to be vigilant about? I didn’t update anything manually.
