Saved different themes but not showing in control panel.

  • I’ve saved various themes to my wp-content/themes folder but they do not appear in the wordpress control panel. The page says: “You can find additional themes for your site in the WordPress theme directory. To install a theme you generally just need to upload the theme folder into your wp-content/themes directory. Once a theme is uploaded, you should see it on this page.”

    I don’t see the new themes on the page and I also deleted the existing ones but they still appear. It’s been hours so I don’t think it’s a timing/lag issue?

    Help.

  • The “I also deleted the existing ones but they still appear” comment makes me think you are not really accessing the correct wp-content/themes folder. Do you have more than one copy of WordPress uploaded?

    I can’t access any of the themes I’ve loaded into the wp-content/themes folder. In my case, though, no themes appear under available themes. That includes the themes included in with wp.

    I am very sorry, I uploaded to the wp-content folder on my computer rather than my server. Thanks for trying to help, I’ll be more careful before posting for help in the future.
