  • Yes, your permalink structure does not work with the next page link. Are you wedded to that particular structure?

Make sure you saved all of the latest rewrite rules to .htaccess. If you upgrade to a nightly from 1.2, you’ll need to revisit the Options->Permalink page to see the updated rules.

    All rewrite rules are OK.,
The htaccess is saved. I have my permalinks as this:
    /index.php/%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/
I have tried to change it by removing the index.php/ but it appears as if the htaccess wont follow my orders, or somethin of the sort.
    Thanks

I think 1.3 will handle having index.php in the permalink, but as I recall 1.2 does not have the necessary coding.

Help? The index.php I downloaded does not have a Next, Previous Page code on it. I have placed this code “<?php posts_nav_link(‘ — ‘, __(‘« Previous Page’), __(‘Next Page »’)); ?>” just above the “<div id=”menu”>”. I know from others that this has something to do with the version I have, whatever that means. You see I am an idoit when it comes to something new and I need more detailed explanations as to how to get a Next, Previous Page link to show up on the main page or the next page if it generates one. Please help? Someone else told me to get a new index.php page? Problem is I don’t have a footer in my stuff so that doesn’t work, because your new index.php has a footer code in it. Please?
