• Hello, I have found problem/bug with product categories organization

When I create new category without any products assigned to it, but add more subcategories with products to it, it doesn’t show up on front end. But when I assign at least one product to this newly created category, then it shows in front end with this one product and all subcategories in it. Then I delete this one product assigned to this newly created category and it shows all correct in front end – my new category with all the subcategories in it.
Two different results with the same content. Should it stay this way?

Sounds like this is more an issue with caching than with WooCommerce per se. Are you still experiencing the same issue after deactivating all of your plugins (except WooCommerce) and switching to the default Twenty Sixteen theme?

My theme authors (8theme) tested if this problem persists with default Woocommerce theme and this is what they came to ->

As I see the same issue with categories appears with default Woocommerce theme Storefront, not only with our theme.
We recommend you to contact Woocommerce plugin support to investigate this issue.
