I used the “hide backend” feature to change “wp-admin” to something else and now I’m completely locked out of my own site. When I try to log in I get a Forbidden error even though I’m the admin. Help! I can’t even get in to turn it off!

  • Hi dcoplan,
I would suggest you contact the authors of the plugin that feature is in. We do not provide such a feature.

    Best of luck!

I tried that a while ago with no luck. But I dug up a great solution online. By accessing my site through FTP and navigating to the plugins folder, all I had to do was change the name of the folder for the plugin causing the problem and I was able to get back in and reset everything.
