Automatically make First Image Featured Image

I used the ‘Automatically make First Image Featured Image option’, but now my blog has duplicate images showing. It puts the featured image above the blog post and then the duplicate image in the blog post. How can I prevent the blog from showing both images and still have the featured image show up in RSS feeds? Is there a way where your app makes the first image in the post the featured image, so it will show up in RSS feeds but then automatically deletes the duplicate image in the blog post or makes it so the featured image is selected but does not appear at top of blog post?
