How you add slide show to blogs

Hello, I am trying to set up Shoreditch theme in my local test site. I have jetpack plugin activated and Carousel, custom content types features turned on. I am following the theme document too. But I couldn’t setup slider in blog page just like in the demo blog. I am getting other components sort of working except blog slides. Any help and clear instructions would be appreciated. Thank you.
