When trying to use “Custom Access Settings”/”Content accessible to Logged Out Users” on the login page, the redirect does not happen as expected, and logged-in users still see a small profile page.

If a different page is selected in “Settings” for the login page, the problem goes away. I have done a full conflict test as per the “READ THIS FIRST” instructions and the problem persists.

The workaround therefore is to create an additional page with the login shortcode, using this page as your login page, and to exclude the “official” login page as chosen in “Settings” from the menu using “Exclude Pages” plugin or similar. Then the “Content accessible to Logged Out Users” function works as expected.

UM Support can clarify whether this behaviour is by design or a bug.
