The plugin does not have a valid header

    Pretty Link doesn’t show up anymore in my plugins, but when I go to install it, it shows to activate it. When I click on Activate, I get this message: The plugin does not have a valid header.

    I tried renaming my original pretty-link folder and installing the newest version of Pretty Link Lite, but when I activate it, I still get the header error message.

    My guess is that it stopped working when wordpress updated to 4.7. Please help! I need my links!
