Umlaut-problem with xls-import

    Just a feedback:
    When importing xls-data, umlauts as ?,?,ü and ? are not imported properly.
    When importing xlsx-data, everything works like a charme. Fantastic!!!

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Yeah, the .xls format and its import can be very tricky, especially with things like character encoding. Good to hear that you found the easy workaround with .xlsx. If you one day experience problems with that, I even recommend using the .csv format, which can be imported in the most robust way.
