• Hi All,

I seem to have hit a Http error which I cant seem to fix. I updated to WP 4.7 about 2 weeks and since the site auto posts content through WP Automatic, I only noticed the error at the weekend so unsure if its as a result of upgrade or not.

If I try attach an image to a post or add via gallery i recieve an error Http Error, the image shows as if its uploaded but then gives the error message and image shows as grey. When you click the image it does not show a preview of the image but if you directly link the image it loads in the browser.

I have disabled all plugins to see if it was a plugin issue and the issue did not get resolved. I then went and reinstalled WP Core and it still had the same issue. I then went and installed WP stock in a new folder and it again had the same issue on a site with nothing inside it.

I have checked WP site memory and an app tells me I am using 64mb of 256mb allocated. The host, has said he is unable to assist unless I can provide any thing they can look at.

    Any assistance would be great,

    Try:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
