Confirmation link doesn’t look correctly

  • Good time of the day. I’ve got a serious problem with WordPress. When one registers at my website he gets a link of confirmation, but instead of new password getting link he gets a simple link to /wp-login.php. So he is not able to finish registration. What to do to make my website send a correct registration confirmation link?

    To rule out any theme/plugin conflict, try:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    With all deactivated plugins the situation remains the same. Just checked.
