Keeping the overlay separated from the slide image

1. I just bought the pro version of the master slider. I am trying to use the post and overlay template. The problem is that the overlay covers part of the image. Is there any way to have the overlay occupied a part of the background and the image another part in such a way that all the image appears not partly covered by the overlay content?
2. How do I use a parallax template with a post slider.
3. Is there any way to use master slider to simulate a scrolling marquee to display the title of post?
