Custom username

  • It’s a nice option to auto register a user when they purchase a download, but is there no method to allow the person to create their own username and password?

    Hi Shaped Pixels,

    The default behavior of EDD allows the user to choose their own username and password. EDD Auto Register’s purpose is to remove these so the checkout process is streamlined and there’s less friction in purchasing.

    So no, there’s no option to allow the customer to create their own username or password.
