Keep getting kicked back to Login, then it doesn’t work

  • After reseting the password TWICE, I go to the dashboard to make changes on a post and get kicked out, only to log in again and it doesn’t work. I thought maybe it was the WP Login Attempt plugin causing the problem, so I go to deactivate it and I get kicked out again and have to log in… and it doesn’t work.

    What is happening??

  • Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause. You can do this easily by renaming the plugins folder plugins-hold.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the default theme for your version of WordPress to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
