• I just changed my PHP password and obviously WordPress cannot connect to the database. How do I get WP to recognize the new password? I’ve looked through wp_options in PHP but didn’t see anything that resembled (at least to my eyes) what I should change.

    Thanks ??

  • PHP password?

Perhaps you meant your database password? If so, you’d change it in wp-config.php.

I’ve already changed it in wp-config.php but it hasn’t had any effect. Hmmm. This is odd.

What do you mean you changed your PHP password? I’ve never heard of such a thing?

And what is the problem you’re having?

I logged into my webhosting account and noticed they cut off the last letter in my new password! I cannot believe they won’t let me have a longer password!

Thanks for the fast reply! It works again!

And yes, I meant DB password.
