  • Thanks for your question. How did you place the icons exactly? Did you select the floating option under question 3?

If you did, there might be a conflict with your template or another plugin. Could you please try deactivating other plugins to see if it helps?

Yes, I selected the floating option under question 3. I think it might be a conflict with the template.

Ok, could you please talk to your theme/template creator then? We can also fix it for you as part of our premium plugin: https://www.ultimatelysocial.com/usm-premium/

I’ve tried a different plugin on another website with the same template and plugins. And with this plugin (Floating Social Media) the floating effect works.
Just to let you know that in this case it looks like it’s not a compatibility issue with either plugins or theme.

Ok, thanks for the info. I’m not sure what it is then, because on other sites it works fine.

Nope it is a limitation from the plugin. The styles added are ‘position:absolute’ and also a fixed width is given.
I had the same problem like readman (@readman), tried everything could only get them to float in their own ‘container’.
Sad but also had to use an other plugin….
