• If you are using the Avada theme be cautioned that this app will make all theme options and in page fusion builder functions inoperable. I know have a long road ahead to restore my site because of this app. Bad Choice on my part!

    Hi there,

I’mean very sorry. I have had a look at the theme and our plug in seems to work fine with the theme.

I will continue to look in to this.

Our plug in does not modify the site structure but as all plug insurance we save our data in to the options.

Once again I’might very sorry your site is not adapted for the app.

I have concrete proof that it in some manner corrupted my site. I’ve attempted to resolve this by re-installing the latest version of WordPress, and restoring a backup of my theme. Nothing has worked. I’m hesitant to restore a back-up of my most recent DB but I think that may be my only option.

You’re reply is not clear when you say “but as all plug insurance we save our data in to the options.”

    What does that mean?

“but as all plug insurance we save our data in to the options.”

We use our save our data like all plugins in the options table.

If you need any help I’m here.

Dave, thanks for your willingness to help me. I’m seeing several issues that warrant screenshots in order to provide a complete picture. Can you send me an email address that I can reply to directly? Briefly though, I am experiencing the following:

    1. WordPress Screen Options & Help pull downs do not work in: Posts, Pages, FAQs, Portfolios, and bbpress Forums, Topics, and Replies

    2. Text or content inside the content editing box is white text, invisible to view until you select all and highlight it for existing and new: Posts, Pages, FAQs, Portfolios, and bbpress Forums, Topics, and Replies

    3. Fusion Builder button, a plugin with Avada does not work now on: Posts, Pages, FAQs, Portfolios, and bbpress Forums, Topics, and Replies

    4. Avada Theme options view is completely blank – no options and configurations.

After I installed and activated Wordapp I went through the 3 step install.
    1. Named the App
    2. Selected my Avada theme as the first choice
    3. then Installed

I started customizing the design, menus ect. and then went to the theme section again to see what other themes were available. I scrolled down to the bottom and saw my Avada theme and clicked install. After this I began noticing the issues I numerated above and quickly deactivated the plugin and uninstalled it.

I still do not understand what you mean by: “We use our save our data like all plugins in the options table.” Are you saying the the plugin only adds data to the options table in my DB? So, if there is a conflict or an issue, it would be there? Can you share the record rows, fields and values that your plugin modifies data in?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your recent message.

My email address is [email protected].

Yes, we only add to the options table and do not modify or edit you MySQL database (other than adding a table for the push notification).

    Kind Regards

Thank you Dave for the offline support. You went above and beyond and it is much appreciated! As was discovered, deactivating and reactivating all of my plugins helped to resolve the issue I previously stated. Although it is unclear at this point as to what produced my issues, I’m happy to say that nothing was corrupted or ultimately lost on my site. I really appreciate your offer to test your plugin on a restored version of my site in a non-production environment. I will certainly consider it once I decide our next steps with a device app plugin roadmap. Again, thank you!!
