Where Can I find the Shortcode?

    Hello,

    I am trying to use this plugin on my Ideation webpage. I need to use the shortcode of this plugin instead of using the WP Idea Stream root slug.
    The root slug lets the Idea Stream content to be displayed on the whole web page and I unable to add any other content such as Image Slider and Light box on the same page. I am currently using WordPress version 4.7 and Avada themes (Version 5.0.6).
    I have tried finding in the Settings of the plugin, but no luck.

    Is there an existing shortcode for using this plugin, if so where can I find it?
    Can anyone please help?

    Hi, in this case you’ll need to find another plugin. This one comes with no shortcodes as it uses the WordPress rewrite API with customizable slugs.

    Thanks, and I can understand.

    Sometimes, we need build a home page which include all categories of sites, the home page actually works as content navigating, and it will helpful for user to understand quickly what content are in the sites.

    It is not a quite problem in October mode, but it is in mobile, so it would be great if there is a short code, so that we can make that homepage by including some idea content.

    I confirm i won’t do a shortcode for WP Idea Stream. But you can do it if you really need by adding the code for it in a wp-idea-stream-custom.php file as it is explained here

    I think using shortcode in the case you’re mentioning is not the only way to achieve “insert WP Idea Stream content into the front page”. You can create a new page template inside your theme with dynamic sidebars in it so that you can add to it the WP Idea Stream built in widgets. Then set your front page to use that created template.
