Problem when jumping to another page then scrolling down.

Hi, I have a site which has sections on the home page which are in the main menu and when you click it scrolls down to the correct section. The problem is when im on another page i want it to jump back to home page and scroll to the correct section once loaded. I have put the full path ex: https://sitename/#path and put and enabled the “Scroll to target id (e.g. <div id=”id” />) based on location hash (e.g. mysite.com/mypage#id) on page load”. Is there something Im missing. My site is still in development but you can see the problem at samdines.com and when u scroll down to portfolio and open an item to its info page, from there when you click about me i want it to head back to the homepage and scroll down to that section. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
