Featured Image Showing 2x

  • I am unable to get prevent two versions of the featured image to appear.

    If “Don’t show the featured image on this post” is checked then the plugin does not insert the backstretched image, but the original featured image that was uploaded does show.

    If it is unchecked, I get the plugin image on top and then the standard (non-stretched) featured image below it.

    Any ideas how to remove the “standard” image with the plugin activated?

    This usually happens if your theme is already set up to add the featured image to the post output. Some themes which do this provide a setting where you can disable it; in others, you need to find the relevant code. The non-backstretched version of your featured image is being added either by your theme, or by another plugin. If you can share a link to your site, I may be able to help you track down the source.
