I have a few photos in the media library where I have added “Att. Tags”.

There is an image with the “Att. Tags” boat, water, and scotland.

If I check “terms” on the search field, and search for “boat”, the image shows up. If I do a search for “boat scotland” it returns “no media files found”.

Am I misunderstanding how this search field works? Any help would be greatly appreciated.’

    Cheers

Thanks for your question and for posting a detailed example.

Because taxonomy terms can have multiple words the syntax for searching on term values is somewhat different. In your example search MLA is looking for a single term name that contains “boat Scotland”. To search for items assigned to “boat” and to “scotland”, separate the words with a comma, not a space, i.e., “boat, scotland”. You can find detailed information and examples for the terms search syntax in the “Terms Search – filtering on taxonomy term names” section of the Settings/Media Library Assistant Documentation tab.

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have problems or further questions regarding the above suggestions. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
